**Job Title: Account Manager - Minerals**
**Location: Brisbane or Perth**

**How will you make an impact?**
The Account Manager Process Analytics (PA) is responsible for actively driving and delivering minerals product sales in the Australia and New Zealand region, by engaging with end user sites, engineering procurement and construction (EPC) companies, and head offices. You will be working within a dynamic regional team as well as the PA Marketing team to identify and provide reliable solutions to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Direct Sales of Minerals Products in Australia & New Zealand
- Deliver sales of Mineral (and other products, as assigned) to meet or exceed annual sales target.
- Development and implementation of strategic sales plan in alignment with the Company goal tree.
- Proactively visit and present to EPC's, end user sites, and Head offices, to enable understanding of our products and value proposition.
- Actively build relationships with key personnel to ensure we are invited to participate in project tenders.
- Develop effective business relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry.
- Directly manage and respond to tender requests to maximise our bookings sales into from Greenfields projects
- Collaborate with other regionally based Sales team members to maximise our success in cross regional projects
- Work closely with EPC's and head offices to understand the industry trends and needs and feed those back into the strategic planning process.
- Ensure that the sales pipeline is filled with opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle through proactively interacting with the market to generate new opportunities
- Provide monthly forecasts in line with bookings targets
- Ensure that opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely manner
- Manage the contract review process and lead negotiation in large projects
- Maintain a database of mine sites in key commodities across Australia, PNG & New Zealand
- Work with technical resources to identify the optimum solution for the customer and the Company.

**How will you get here?**
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in metallurgy or process control disciplines.
**Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Previous Sales experience (3-5years) with accountability for achievement of KPI's and Financial Targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proven background in sales including a strong awareness of the sales and negotiation processes and an ability to sell creatively/competitively
- An ability to think strategically and laterally to maximize business opportunities, profitability, and customer potential
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience with virtual meeting tools.
- Have an established network in mining industry
- Maintain opportunity records in SFDC
- Participate in global calls and meetings to share experiences, best practises, and learn from other team members
- Work closely with operations personnel to handover executable orders and provide feedback from the customers
- Work closely with the service team to ensure satisfaction from your customers
**Other Important Information**
- As this position requires time on the road, a current driving license is a prerequisite.
- An ability to travel to attend training sessions/conferences/occasional activities is necessary
- Ability to travel interstate and overseas when and if required
