We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Branch Manager to lead our team and drive sales in the region. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, excellent leadership skills, and be able to inspire performance through coaching and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Customer Service Officers and Warehouse team members to achieve business objectives.
* Effectively manage site pick and pack, local manufacturing, and customer specific testing work.
* BUILD engaging relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders during every interaction.
* Develop technical solutions, offer best practice advice, and services to customers.
* Drive employee engagement and improvement using feedback, data analysis, and action planning.
* Manage and lead all safety objectives including training for staff and reporting to senior leaders.
* Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets.
You will be well supported with a team of technical and sales experts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a sales based role.
* Ability to coach, lead, and have performance discussions to support team growth and success.
* A strong customer focus with the ability to build rapport.
* A full, unrestricted Australian Drivers License.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* High level written and verbal communication skills.
* Comprehensive computer experience specifically Microsoft Suite (including Excel and Word).
* Strong time management skills with a solutions focused approach to problem solving.
* A valid forklift ticket is preferred.
* Experience with industrial products such as lifting and rigging, and trade products is preferred but not essential.
