About the Role:
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for safety, operational excellence, and team development? CSBP is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee fertiliser despatch operations and drive continuous improvement across our Geraldton region.
As Operations Supervisor, you’ll own the operational function in Geraldton, leading a team of Despatch Operators and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. You’ll play a key role in planning, resource coordination, and performance management, while fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Lead and coach a small team of employees and contractors.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and team performance.
- Manage inventory and ensure product availability in line with forecasts.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and maintenance planning.
- Operate heavy vehicles and despatch plant equipment as required.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in line management within a manufacturing or materials handling industry, or similar.
- Strong safety focus and knowledge of safe work practices.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Sound knowledge of material handling operations and maintenance planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
