What does a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in the Geotechnical team do?

Our Geosciences team is an integrated geotechnical engineering, hydrogeological and environmental consultant to a wide range of clients working on infrastructure and developments, both for private and public entities across Australia.

Day‐to‐day tasks would involve:
* Plan, coordinate and manage site investigations to deliver geotechnical investigative reports – including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and making recommendations.
* Undertaking geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls
* Contribute to the delivery of projects, ensuring work outputs are of a high technical standard
* Assist with interpretation and analysis of data to develop and implement practical and commercial solutions
* Managing key projects from start to finish in line with project specifications
About you:
* Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering degree with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies
* Interest in field geotechnical investigations including logging and supervision of geotechnical drilling activities
* A demonstrated passion for working in the geotechnical engineering discipline
* Eligible to work in Australia
* Currently in final year of degree or 1‐2 years of experience
