About the Role:
The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager to successfully deliver civil construction and sub-division projects by ensuring they are delivered to budget, time, and brief.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the Project Manager
2. Project compliance in accordance with the Integrated Management System
3. Project planning and programming tasks
4. Liaising and managing client relationships
5. Monitoring performance of construction crew and subcontractors against estimates
6. Reporting and mitigating performance issues
7. Reporting production costs daily, weekly, and monthly
8. Procurement of plant, equipment, and material
9. Issuing PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs
About you:
10. A degree in Civil Engineering
11. Significant Project Management experience
12. Proven experience with earthworks, roads, pavement, structures, and civil infrastructure
13. Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities
14. Excellent client relationship management
15. Excellent rapport with subcontractors
16. Contract management experience
17. Excellent people management skills
