THE ROLE
* Provide prompt and effective light vehicle maintenance support to underground gold mines.
* Evaluate vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose problems accurately.
* Review vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance and upgrades.
* Carry out regular maintenance activities to improve vehicle performance and lifespan.
* Adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations.
* Liaise with contractors and stakeholders as required.
WHAT DO I NEED
* Current "C" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence.
* Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates and licences.
* Experience within a mining or heavy‐industry environment.
* Quality workmanship with excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
* Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
* Reasonable computer skills and literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
* Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable).
* Strong problem‐solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt.
* Excellent communication skills with a can‐do, team‐oriented attitude.
