About the Job
We are seeking two Electrical Supervisors to oversee electrical operations on-site, ensuring that safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
This project aims to deliver affordable, reliable, and clean energy to Victorian homes and businesses.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in implementing control measures to eliminate or minimize high-risk activities or hazards on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and assess potential risks and hazards on the project site
* Implement effective control measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations
* Oversee daily operations and manage resources effectively
* Liaise with logistics teams to ensure accurate delivery of materials and equipment
* Coordinate resolution of issues related to design, materials, or management systems
* Assist in planning, monitoring, and completing work packs
* Ensure timely completion of work and inspection as per specified requirements
* Manage construction and safety-related documentation
* Implement and adhere to management systems and protocols
* Review performance to identify inefficiencies or inconsistencies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade-based background in mechanical or electrical construction or equivalent
* 5 years' experience in supervision and management of construction labor with a focus on high-quality delivery on large construction projects
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize demands
* Proficient skills in MS Office and email
