Marketing and Events Officer Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading state high school as the Marketing and Events Officer. The successful candidate will work within the Events and Marketing Team at Corinda State High School on a temporary part-time basis.
The role involves assisting in the development of innovative marketing and communication strategies and the coordination of special events for the school.
About the Role
* Assist in maintaining the school's brand, producing marketing collateral, design templates, and handbooks in Canva, ensuring all materials adhere to high-quality standards and align with the visual identity guide.
* Compile and distribute the fortnightly parent newsletter, managing the proofing process and promoting its circulation.
* Manage content and updates for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
* Maintain a proactive and consistent social media presence to promote the school and communicate responsively with the wider community.
* Provide event support to the Marketing Manager for key events, including Graduation, Academic Awards, Open Day, and Farm Day.
* Fulfill internal requests for photography and videography covering regular school events.
* Generate and supervise content for the school's TV screens as part of the school's communications strategy.
* Assist in obtaining quotes and purchasing branded marketing collateral in line with government guidelines and departmental policies.
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing and events.
