* Perform allocated maintenance services as a member of the Machine Shop Team
* Directly responsible for the execution of the work allocated by team leader
* Demonstrate responsibility and accountability by adhering to aviation industry and TAE requirements.
* Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness to reduce the cost base across machine shop operations
* Assist in ensuring compliance obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure all maintenance on aeronautical product is carried out in accordance with authorized publications and instructions
* Assist in the development of a professional, commercially focused and world class repair team
* Ensure all tasks performed comply with all required work standards including quality, durability, reliability, and timeliness
* Maintain work areas clean and acceptable standard
* Participate as a team member in continuous improvement projects and activities
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 1 year trade experience in relevant field
* General maintenance skills
* General knowledge of and experience in all aviation maintenance practices involved with maintenance, repair, and overhaul
* Mechanical knowledge with hands on experience and understanding of measuring and calibrated tooling use
* Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment
* Understand and apply workings from simple technical drawings and manuals
* Proven ability to work to outcomes while ensuring highest quality and safety
* Flexible to learning new skills, with the ability to retain and apply new information
* Demonstrated experience in Informational Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems
* Proven commitment to customer service and safety
