The Home and Location Buderim Views is a modern 120 Residential Aged Care Home located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast
About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, our Maintenance Team Leader will coordinate & oversee maintenance activities to ensure the condition and appearance of our facility are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
* Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility
* Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors
* Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working environment
* Maintain comprehensive & compliant records and reports
* Budget management and procurement processes
* Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care WHS and manual handling
* Coordinate, manage and/or undertake grounds and gardens maintenance and development tasks as required
* Provide on-call service including weekends as part of a rotating roster
What do we need from you?
1. Previous experience within Aged Care / good knowledge of cleaning and laundry process in Residential Aged Care.
2. Experience managing a housekeeping team
3. High level of verbal and written English communication skills.
4. Professional, friendly and collaborative approach to all members of staff, residents and their families.
5. CERT IV relevant to role
