Job overviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a 9 month fixed term contract or secondment for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join out team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital based in Brighton.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Occupational Therapy; excellent communication skills and enthusiasm with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of the wider MDT.You will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment and evaluation of patients referred to the acute Inpatient Occupational Therapy Service, including patients with varying presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.Current rotations cover various specialties includingvascular / amputee, medicine, palliative, A&E and Major Trauma.
Rotations may change according to the evolving nature of the integrated pathways across acute teams.
