Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the delivery, unloading, storage, loading, and transportation of goods, materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with WHS regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of construction stock items, spares, and consumables, including updating registers as required.
* Assist with maintenance and servicing requirements of facilities, updating associated registers in accordance with company policies.
* Arrange calibration of electronic and electrical equipment.
* Provide coverage and support for the Facilities Coordinator.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Site and Project Managers.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in stores, warehouse environments, or engineering type facilities.
* Knowledge in maintaining related assets and equipment.
* Advanced level of competency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
* Materials handling competency.
* Australian drivers license.
* Forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
* First Aid and Emergency Warden training (or willingness to obtain).
* Sound general understanding of Quality Assurance and WHS.
