Orienteering NSW (ONSW) is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Executive Officer to support the ONSW Board to assist with participation growth across orienteering clubs throughout NSW, through support of the ONSW Board, other ONSW paid roles and ONSW volunteers.
This is a unique opportunity to lead change initiatives to enable the Board, employees and volunteers to operate more effectively in pursuit of our strategic goals (primarily participation).
About the RoleDirectly support the strategic goals of ONSWStreamline and automate administration tasks where possibleFacilitate and coordinate the formation and functioning of relevant working groupsSupport the Board by triaging correspondence and issues to enable the Board to focus on strategic prioritiesAssist with grant writing and support of grant reporting and grant initiativesAssist the Board with research on issues, policy updates, and document updates as requiredEnsure communication strategies are streamlined, together with ensuring that collateral and website are updated and fit for purposeMaintenance of data to facilitate external reporting such as participation statistics for OAWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in management.Confident communicator and collaborator who can work independently and is happy to deal with the running of a small office.Understanding of orienteering is highly desirable but not essential.ONSW is committed to growing orienteering across NSW and Australia.
