We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Balmoral Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals. Located on the bustling Albany Highway, The Balmoral Hotel is a Perth icon and the ultimate gateway to the city. With three distinct bars, a modern Bistro, and a vibrant beer garden hosting live tunes, we are a high-volume local favorite that truly offers something for everyone. We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is a master of multi-tasking and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. If you're a hands-on leader ready to drive the energy of a premier inner-city venue, come join the team.
Salary: $76,600 + superannuation + bonus
What you'll do
* Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of their crew
* Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
* Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
* Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
* Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Inherent Requirements
* This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About You
* You've been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising
* You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
* You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
* You've got a current RSA and Approved Manager Card as per WA state requirements
