The Nursing Services Team at Bowen Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse/Clinical Midwife provides nursing services within the health service settings; and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature, but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. The tele-health clinical nurse will be responsible for the coordination, support and management of processes involved in managing telehealth service development and delivery across the Whitsunday Health Service. The role will encourage and support tele-health approaches as part of everyday practice in a range of clinical areas and settings.
About the Team
The Bowen health service offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services. These services are collocated on the Gregory St site. The hospital is a 17 bed acute hospital with an Emergency Department and outpatient's department, both of which offers a range of health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team. The Bowen Health Service covers the Bowen area including North to Guthalungra and South to Eden Lassie Creek and inland to the Collinsville range.
