About the Counselling Role
Counsellors will deliver telephone and online counselling services using clinical assessment and therapeutic expertise to meet the distinct needs of individuals reaching out for support through a national service.
They will apply a structured, evidence-based approach to reduce domestic, family, and sexual violence occurrence and effects.
* Relevant clinical experience in face-to-face, phone, or online counselling with evidence-based approaches or equivalent experience in domestic, family, and sexual violence counselling is required.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet are necessary for the role.
Key Responsibilities
The Counsellor will:
* Provide timely and effective telephone and online counselling services to clients.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and interventions.
Requirements
