About the Role
The GP Registrar plays a key role in the delivery of mental health services at South West Healthcare. The position contributes to the coordination of clinical care within the Mental Health Service and across other departments and services. The GP Registrar works closely with the Director of Mental Health, Psychiatrists and GP Supervisors, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role also includes supervision of junior clinical staff and involvement in both formal and opportunistic teaching.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate clinical care within the Mental Health Service and across other departments and services.
* Collaborate with the Director of Mental Health, Psychiatrists and GP Supervisors to provide high-quality patient care.
* Supervise junior clinical staff.
* Participate in formal and opportunistic teaching.
Qualifications
* Holds current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Has relevant clinical experience supporting RANZCOG training.
* Demonstrates sound clinical knowledge and skills.
* Committed to safe, high-quality patient care.
* Works well in a team and seeks support when needed.
* Motivated to continue learning and developing professionally.
