Job Description
This is a leadership role that oversees the delivery of information technology control engagements. The Senior Manager will identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to deliver valuable outcomes for clients.
The role involves managing Technology Risk professionals in the delivery of IT assurance engagements, including evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls. The Senior Manager will also establish audit objectives, design and test as per audit methodologies, processes, and audit report criteria.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on Audit engagements such as External IT Audits, IT General Controls, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007 or ASAE Audits. They should also have a passion for emerging technologies and be able to work within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.
The Senior Manager will partner with internal and external teams to address compliance, financial, and operational risk, and assess current state internal controls and frameworks to mitigate current and emerging risks.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the execution of audits/assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards.
* Manage teams to deliver IT Assurance/Audit engagements - including evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
* Manage teams to deliver other assurance engagements including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, agreed upon procedures, reasonable and limited assurance engagements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in IT or related discipline, although finance, business, or accounting qualifications will also be considered.
* Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP).
* Experience working on Audit engagements such as External IT Audits, IT General Controls, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007 or ASAE Audits.
* A passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.
