We offer 33 days' annual leaveFlexible leaveGenerous employee discountsPrivate healthcareWorkplace pension and much more Hours Full time: Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm About the role As an Arnold Clark Driver/Valeter, you'll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.
Day-to-day duties Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standardCleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washerUsing a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiorsWorking with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodyworkComplying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicalsMaking sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure at all times, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers' instructions and PPE recommendationsWorking to set timeframes and targetsCompleting a daily record of work completedOther duties to support the branch as required Essential requirements Full UK driving licenceHigh level of attention to detailSelf-motivation with the ability to work as part of a teamThe ability to multi-taskWillingness to participate in training programmesValet experience is preferred, but training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria.
