The Role
Our client is looking to hire a motivated, proactive and experienced Full-time Sales Consultant with a deep passion for furniture, homeware or interior design and high-level of customer service and sales skills, for their showroom in Fyshwick, ACT.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate strong relationships with customers through personalized interactions, understanding their preferences and needs to provide tailored recommendations.
* Drive sales by actively engaging with customers.
* Maintain an in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate product value and benefits.
* Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
* Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
* Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment to enhance the shopping experience.
* Provide exceptional customer service and memorable shopping experience for every client.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in premium retail sales and customer service, preferably in furniture or home decor.
* Strong passion for interior decoration and home furnishings.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
* Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
