About The Opportunity
They are seeking a motivated Junior Residential Project Manager / Electrician to become an integral part of their expanding team. This unique role combines hands‐on electrical work with project management responsibilities, allowing you to make significant contributions to their projects while developing your leadership skills. Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating trades, materials, and workflow on‐site
* Problem‐solving and facilitating day‐to‐day project delivery
* Maintaining timelines, quality control, and site organisation
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior electricians
* Assisting in managing projects from initial rough‐in to final completion
* Ensuring high standards of workmanship and presentation are upheld
* Executing hands‐on electrical tasks across various residential projects
* Reading and interpreting plans while proactively planning upcoming works
* Liaising professionally with builders, clients, and suppliers to ensure project success
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* NSW Electrical Licence
* White Card and Full Driver Licence
* Own tools and professional presentation
* A strong work ethic and pride in your craft
* Good understanding of AS/NZS 3000 standards
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
* Minimum 3+ years of post‐trade experience in residential electrical work
* Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with clients and team members
You will also have:
* Experience in high‐end residential projects
* Leadership or team coordination experience
* Knowledge of home automation systems (Control4, Dynalite, etc.)
* Experience with switchboard upgrades and data & communications
* A keen interest in project management and leadership development
