About The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to contribute to a safe, healthy and supportive workplace by providing high-quality administrative and system support across Council's Work Health and Safety, rehabilitation, and wellbeing functions. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of safety systems and processes, maintaining accurate records, and delivering responsive customer service. Your support will help drive positive safety outcomes and promote the wellbeing of staff across the organisation.

About You

8. Proven experience providing high-level administrative support in a WHS, rehabilitation / injury-management, health-administration or similar regulated environment.
9. Working knowledge of workers compensation / rehabilitation claim processes and basic medical terminology sufficient to prepare documentation and liaise with medical providers.
10. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and confidence using electronic WHS, injury-management or other business databases, including data entry, maintenance and report generation.
11. High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal confidentially and professionally with personal or sensitive information and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
12. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and as a part of a team including working professionally in shared and open office spaces.
13. Proven attention to detail, time management and effective workload management skills to ensure work is accurate and delivered within strict timeframes.
