About the Role
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing business based in Wingfield, SA. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will support operations across both the warehouse and production demands.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the smooth and safe flow of day-to-day operations across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or high reach) to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging
* Pick, pack, and stage orders for production and dispatch
* Receive incoming goods and ensure accurate checking and storage
* Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner
* Operate basic production and packing equipment (e.g., filling, capping, or labelling machines)
* Assist in packing finished goods (solids or liquids) following correct procedures
* Maintain accurate stock handling using RF scanners or manual systems
* Wrap pallets, label products, and prepare items for shipping
To be successful, you will have:
* A valid Forklift Licence
* Ability to read and understand basic instructions and follow procedures
* A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* A reliable, self-motivated, and positive attitude
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Physical fitness to meet the demands of manual handling work
* Proven experience working safely and responsibly in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
