The Outdoor Industry Awards (NSW ACT) is an awards program that celebrates excellence in the outdoor industry, recognizing outstanding achievements by individuals and organisations providing exceptional outdoor experiences. The program promotes best practices, encourages continuous improvement, and fosters business development within the industry. The awards also contribute to building consumer awareness and confidence about the amazing outdoor experiences in NSW and the ACT.
The Awards will be celebrated in July in Jervis Bay, immediately following the Outdoor Industry MasterClass 2026.
Role Description
The Outdoor Industry Awards Judge will assess submissions for the various categories. This includes evaluating applications based on predetermined criteria, offering unbiased judgments, and ensuring alignment with the program's quality tourism standards. Judges will participate in in-person panel discussions and provide feedback to support participants' growth. This is a volunteer remote role but with mandatory dates to adhere to.
Judges must be available online for the Deliberation Meeting 9 June, Times TBA.

* Ability to evaluate applications based on specific criteria.
* Attention to detail, critical thinking, and an ability to provide constructive feedback.
