Medical for Everybody Chirnside Park is looking for an After Hours Practice Nurse to join our friendly and busy practice. The position is to cover a maternity leave position, however ongoing work is likely. The successful candidate must be able to multi task well, enjoy team work, have a caring and empathic nature as well as be a good communicator.
The after hours clinic is often fast paced and requires skills that assist with triage, procedures, iron infusions, immunizations as well as care plans and health assessments.
The Evening
Clinic runs from 5pm - 11pm. The successful candidate must be able to work Thursday evening.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Triage
* Care Plans and Health Assessments
* Venesection and Iron Infusions
* Ear Syringing
* ECG's and Spirometry
* Cryotherapy
* Childhood, Travel, Influenza and Covid Immunisations
* Wound Care Management
* Assist GPs with minor procedures
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered or Enrolled Nurse
* Currently registered with AHPRA
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Police Check or willing to perform one
* Current First Aid certificate
* Previous experience within Private Practice is helpful but not essential
* Be able to work autonomously and have good communication skills
