You’ll be exposed to procedures rarely performed elsewhere in Australia, including ultrasound-guided hand and upper limb surgery.
The Role
Scrub / Scout Nurse
You will:
Prepare and maintain sterile fields to the highest standards
Scrub and scout advanced orthopaedic procedures
Assist in minimally invasive surgical interventions
Participate in sterilisation and theatre workflow optimisation
Support recovery or anaesthetic roles when required
We are seeking nurses who value precision, preparation, and efficiency.
Minimum 2 years recent theatre experience preferred for senior scrub roles.
Practice Nurse
This role bridges clinic and theatre operations and includes:
Assisting specialists in consulting clinics
Theatre list coordination and pre-admissions
Stock management and consumables oversight
Participation in accreditation and quality improvement
Cross-training into perioperative roles
Ideal for nurses who enjoy both clinical work and structured operational systems.
Career Pathway for ENs & New Graduates (Important)

You will:
Receive hands-on exposure to theatre workflows
Learn sterile technique and perioperative standards
Progress toward scrub/scout competency under supervision

Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) or EN qualification
Eligibility to work in Australia
