Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of aerospace engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and project schedules.
Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key milestones and deliverables.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project risks and challenges.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, technicians, and external stakeholders.
Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, ensuring effective communication and alignment within the project team.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in aerospace engineering project management.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering
10+ years experience leading project delivery
5+ years experience in a Sales or direct supporting role
Strong understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, and earned value management (EVM).
Desirable
Experience in the Unmanned Aircraft industry.
Project Management qualification.

Provision of an acceptable Australian National Police clearance.
