About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Warehouse Inventory Manager on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. This role is responsible for the management and review of Systems, People and Processes that will enable the efficient movement of stock into, through and out of the Distribution Centre. This position is key in identifying opportunities to improve customer service and opportunities for inventory and process improvements.
In this Role
1. Champion the management of Chain of Responsibility inbound receiving schedule planning responsibilities.
2. Develop and deliver on KPIs for customer service delivery
3. Through analysis, implement optimal inventory planning and placement strategies and use of the warehouse inventory management systems.
4. Ensure all OH&S, company policies and legislation is adhered to at all times.
5. Drive a people-based performance environment, providing support and development opportunities to Warehouse Inventory personnel.
You’re Likely a Match If
6. Distribution Centre inventory management experience
7. Experience with automated systems and/or manufacturing line
8. Experience creating and delivering plans; solving problems, measuring performance and outcomes.
9. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (Dallas)
