Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a entry level motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Yard Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining an organised and efficient yard area. Your daily duties will include opening and closing procedures, assisting in moving vehicles, and ensuring a high standard of presentation for both new and used vehicles.
Key responsibilities:
* Open the dealership each morning and secure it each evening, setting the tone for exceptional customer experiences
* Strategically position and relocate vehicles throughout the yard to maximise showcase appeal and accessibility
* Warmly welcome arriving customers and immediately connect them with sales professionals
* Create an inviting dealership through daily tasks
* Perform detailed \"was-is\" vehicle inspections, ensuring every new and trade-in vehicle meets our standards
* Protect freshly detailed vehicles from unnecessary wear, preserving that showroom shine
* Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock management
* Ensure every vehicle displays clear, professional pricing information
* Verify all display vehicles are accessible with proper unlocking and tagging
* Transform new arrivals into showroom-ready displays
* Maintain an immaculate entrance area, creating that crucial positive first impression
* Assist in keeping cars clean and showroom ready in the yard
Requirements:
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Basic knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:0am to 5:30pm
Occasional Saturdays
