* Both roles are permanent in nature and based within the centre based care program at the Port Fairy Community Services Centre.
* Part-time role 24 hours per week across three days, Monday to Wednesday.
* Part-time role 32 hours per week across four days, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
To be successful in this role you will need Qualifications Essential
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or working towards) in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
* Current level 2 first aid accreditation (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training)
* Have a current employee working with children check
* Current driver licence
Experience Desirable
* Relevant experience working in an early childhood setting
Key selection criteria Key selection criteria 1
* Strong Communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
Key selection criteria 2
* Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Development Framework, Early Years Framework and the National Quality Standards
Key selection criteria 3
* Knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards and Mandatory Reporting requirements
