What's on offer?
We are looking to build on our core team with the addition of experienced Pit & Pipe Labourers to work on key projects within our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies business.
The successful candidate will be heavily involved in works across multiple projects, with the potential for regional work.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Ensuring all works are completed to required HSE and quality standards
Excavating and backfilling trenches, manholes and pits for the installation and connection of underground pipes and conduits
Safely operating various handtools, compactors, etc
Working collaboratively and mentoring team members where possible
Assist in preparation of setting up work sites daily
Collaborating with team members and assist with additional labouring duties as required.
How you'll connect to the role:
Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card
Knowledge of NBN networks
Previous experience in cable winch operations and basic rod & roping desirable
An understanding of existing network architecture (pits, cables, ducts etc) desirable
Ability to read and interpret plans
