Competitive Hourly rate of pay Permanent Role Kemps Creek Location Job Duties/Essential Functions Receives in lens frame purchase orders from the US and domestically into the AS400 system.
Co-ordinates the order flow of purchase orders / jobs in order of receipt, in a timely manner Uses edging equipment to trace, edge and fit lenses to specifications on frame order Use of lens meter in order to identify specifications to match the lens order Maintains and co-ordinates frame inventory Packs and ships all eyeglass purchase orders to each warehouse in a timely manner Communicates with warehouses, US lab and Buying office in a timely manner, via email and telephone Provides dispensing advice and solutions to the warehouse, where required.
Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.
Assists in other departments of the company as necessary.
Qualifications: Education/Training: Cert in Optical Mechanics Experience/Skills: Proven experience in eyeglass edging fitting in a Lab environment ESSENTIAL.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous optical dispensing experience.
Strong computer skills.
