About the role
UGL is seeking an experienced E&I Planner to support Phase 4 (Pre-execution) planning activities for a major LNG Turnaround. This is initially a 3-month contract based in Perth, providing critical planning readiness to support execution phases of a major LNG turnaround. Once planning has been finalised the role will transition to an on-site Supervisor position.
Reporting directly to Client Representatives, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, compliant job plans and schedules that meet client standards, processes, and safety expectations.
This role is ideally suited to a planner with strong LNG / TAR experience, a solid understanding of E&I Planning and JDE (desirable), and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver detailed job planning and scheduling to support Turnaround readiness for execution phases
* Develop, maintain, and own resource- and equipment-loaded job plans within E&I and CMMS systems
* Ensure all planning and scheduling activities are fully compliant with client standards, JDE processes, and documented procedures
* Attach and manage relevant ITRs and supporting documentation at work order level
* Provide accurate, timely planning inputs to support integrated execution schedules
* Promote effective communication and collaboration with client stakeholders and internal teams
* Apply lessons learned from previous TAR events to improve safety, cost, and efficiency
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and procedural compliance at all times
About you:
* Proven experience as a Planner within LNG / Oil & Gas Turnaround environments
* Strong hands-on experience with E&I Planning (mandatory)
* Working knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning (highly desirable)
* Demonstrated experience delivering detailed job plans for TAR readiness
* Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous)
* Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives
* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline
