About your new Role
The Business Development Consultant (BDC) plays a key role in supporting the Business Development team by helping to build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with external financial advisers across multiple channels. This role supports the promotion and delivery of Brighter Super's IFA proposition and service offerings. The BDC is responsible for managing inbound enquiries from financial advisers, practices, and licensees, as well as assisting with reporting, portfolio management, and activities that drive new business growth and retention. A key focus of the role is to help the team meet net fund flow and Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.
* Act as a key support to the Business Development Managers (BDM) in external adviser engagement, brand development and market outreach
* Build and manage strong relationships with both external financial advisers and internal teams
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve adviser-related queries
* Deliver administrative and operational support across multiple functions
* Maintain and update internal databases with accuracy and attention to detail
* Generate adviser reports via digital platforms and conduct regular data analysis and reporting using Salesforce, Tableau and Excel to inform strategy and track engagement
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and brand building in external markets
About You

* Strong communication skills – confident interacting with various internal and external parties
* Analytical mindset with demonstrated strength in Excel and reporting tools
* Self-motivated, curious and solution focused
* High integrity and professional mindset; ability to think critically and creatively
* Personable and proactive; thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment
* Superannuation experience, ideally with exposure to advice-related systems and processes
* RG146 Compliance – Preferred
* Minimum 3 years\' experience within financial services
