About the role:
The Administration Officer will provide high quality administration support to the Darwin NT Coordinator, NT and administrative support to the Greater Darwin NT Services and WA/NT administration team, liaise as required with staff from MacKillop's Offices, as well as staff from a wide range of government and non-government agencies as required, oversee the local integration and alignment of all 'back office' functions, including contracting and standards, policy implementation, community relations, finance and business services and human resource management in partnership with relevant MacKillop staff locally and at head office.
This is a Part-Time opportunity with 8am to 2:30pm work hours (Flexibility in reaction to start and finish times to be considered) based in Darwin, NT within our NT Services Program. The position reports to the Family Support Services Coordinator, NT.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, The incumbent will have:
* A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families
* Demonstrated high-level administrative experience.
* High skills levels around the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), as well as Outlook and Skype.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, professional team.
* A high level of initiative, ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
