Join a leading national Crane hire company supplying cranes and lifting equipment to major infrastructure, construction, and civil projects. We're on the hunt for a skilled Crane Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of high-performance mobile cranes.
You'll be responsible for servicing and repairs in the workshop, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring equipment is compliant, safe, and ready to go.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, inspect, and repair a range of mobile cranes
* Diagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
* Respond to field breakdowns and emergency call-outs as needed
* Carry out pre-hire inspections and post-job assessments
* Work with the service team to plan jobs and order parts
* Ensure all repairs meet compliance, safety, and OEM standards
What You'll Need
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic)
* 3+ years experience working on Mobile Cranes, Plant Equipment or Heavy Trucks
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Driver's Licence – Essential
* Ability to work autonomously and travel to client sites when required
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
