This Events Supplier manages event, exhibition equipment and infrastructure for events right across Australia. With offices and warehouses nationwide, they are seeking a Production & Operations Manager to join their Western Sydney team to oversee day-to-day operations and production delivery. 
Position Terms: 
- Permanent Full-Time Role
- Working full-time in the office, located in Western Sydney 
- Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 plus super
The Role: 
The Production & Operations Manager is a member of the leadership team, focused on Production, Operations and Logistics. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse, logistics, and production teams to guarantee high-quality event delivery. You will oversee, plan and manage inventory, coordinate logistics, supervise production set-up and pack-down, and ensure that all equipment is maintained, tracked, and delivered on time for events and shows. 
Key Responsibilities include; 
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations, including equipment storage, handling, and transportation.
- Manage inventory control and ensure all gear is accounted for, properly maintained, and available when needed.
- Implement and maintain a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to streamline processes.
- Oversee the coordination of logistics for all trucks.
- Work closely with production teams to plan and deliver event builds, ensuring equipment, crew, and technical requirements are met.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff, crew, and technicians.
- Be a key point of contact on production schedules, timelines, and crew allocations to support on-site delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance warehouse and production workflows.
The Candidate: 
The successful candidate will have experience in a Production, Operations & Logistics role within the event or entertainment industry. You will be equally comfortable managing warehouse and logistics processes as you are working alongside production teams to ensure smooth event delivery. 
- Proven experience in managing teams from the events/entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of equipment, production processes, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical crews and warehouse teams.
- Experience in identifying opportunities and implementing procedures to enhance workflows.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work from the office/warehouse 5 days a week, located in Western Sydney.
