Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Corporate Accounting. As a key member of the Pacific (Australia and New Zealand) Record-to-Report team, you will be responsible for ensuring complete, accurate and timely financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation of accounting, direct and indirect taxes and treasury, as well as knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP and SOX requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead processes that ultimately result in the recognition of SG&A, taxation, intercompany and operational related accounts.
2. Support the monthly closure processes, including preparation of management accounts for the Pacific region, along with completion of balance sheet reviews and reconciliations within appropriate timelines.
3. Manage local statutory filings and audits and collaborate with internal and external auditors and tax advisors on tax related work such as corporate tax, consumption tax, transfer pricing and local tax audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, preferably with CA or equivalent professional qualification.
* 5+ years of progressive experience with public accounting firms and/or multi-national companies desired, with preferable experience in SG&A expenses, taxation, intercompany, general ledger, and legal entity reporting.
