About the role
Provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/persons/residents with a variety of conditions and supports the general function of units through role modelling and application of the principles of best practice, education, leadership and portfolio management. Provide training, development and education from an operational perspective, in consultation with the Nurse Educator and Assistant Nursing Director, to build nursing/midwifery workforce capacity and promote a culture of learning in the clinical environment. Support the Nurse Educators in the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within Metro North Hospital and supporting State-wide Simulation and Education
