Key Responsibilities
* Ensure consistently high‐quality food production across all hotel kitchens, following standard recipes and portion control.
* Prepare and present all food items (hot dishes, sauces, pantry items, and special functions) to hotel standards with strong product knowledge.
* Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and WH&S compliance across all work areas and storage facilities.
* Monitor, requisition, and protect food products and kitchen equipment in line with hotel policies and procedures.
* Deliver timely completion of duties while maintaining professional grooming and positive teamwork.
* Attend scheduled meetings and perform additional duties as directed by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
What You'll Bring
* 1‐2 years' worth of experience as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
* Experience across different sections including pans, grill and larder.
* Ability to train, guide and mentor junior staff.
* An eye for detail and maintaining product consistency and quality.
* Strong communication skills and a positive, can‐do attitude.
* Attention to detail, well‐presented and high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.
