Senior Sous Chef Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing kitchen operations and teams.


Main Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
* Collaborate with the Head/Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus, focusing on authenticity and cost-effectiveness.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior chefs, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Assist with administrative tasks, including rostering, inventory management, and end-of-month reporting.


Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment, showcasing leadership potential.
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - Essential.
* Possesses strong culinary skills, a passion for creating exceptional dishes, and a modern approach to menu planning.
