About The Role
This is a senior opportunity to play a critical role in supporting BOQ's Dealer Finance Wholesale Floorplan, Structured Finance businesses, sitting at the intersection of credit risk, customer experience, account management and commercial decision-making.
Reporting to the Head of Customer and Business Enablement, BOQF and internal stakeholders, you'll act as a trusted 1st line of defence risk partner while helping drive sustainable portfolio growth. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, and external partners, balancing strong risk outcomes with a genuinely customer‐centric approach.
Your days will see you preparing high-quality credit submissions, memorandums, business review papers and annual reviews, overseeing program compliance and portfolio monitoring, and contributing to insightful reporting and analysis. This role requires hands‐on experience with deal structuring, documentation and settlement of loan facilities. Advanced knowledge of commercial loan securities, as you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for internal stakeholders.
You'll be encouraged and supported to influence how we do things better—supporting continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to policy refinement and mentoring junior team members as a senior voice in the team.
This role offers autonomy, variety and impact, with exposure across BOQ's Dealer Finance Wholesale Floorplan, Structured Finance businesses and broader BOQ Group stakeholders.
About You
You're an experienced credit or risk professional who enjoys working in complex lending environments and thrives on delivering thoughtful, well‐reasoned outcomes.
You'll Bring
* Strong experience in credit or risk analysis within a commercial lending environment, with confidence preparing and presenting detailed credit submissions to credit managers and committees
* Advanced financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and clearly summarise financial statements
* A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence, negotiate and build trusted relationships across a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
* A customer‐first approach to risk management, balancing policy, appetite and commercial outcomes with the Customer's expectations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, self‐drive, excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise and a natural sense of ownership and follow through
