Overview
Senior Associate or Special Counsel - Workers' Compensation role with Hall & Wilcox. An experienced workers' compensation lawyer is invited to join our Insurance practice, based in our Darwin office.
The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team, working on Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries and compulsory third-party matters. The team comprises approximately 90 people across Darwin, Perth and Adelaide.
Responsibilities
- Join the Insurance WA team as a hands-on Senior Associate or Special Counsel role focused on workers’ compensation cases and related statutory insurance matters.
- Collaborate closely with clients and partners, contributing to the growth and success of the Darwin insurance practice.
- Provide high-quality legal work with opportunities for learning, development and progression.
About You
- At least 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation.
- Experience on the defendant side is preferred; candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice will also be considered.
- Genuine interest in contributing to the growth of our insurance practice in Darwin.
- Clear, concise legal writing skills and strong attention to detail.
