ABOUT THE ROLE This is a standalone ANZ payroll role where you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand. Sitting within a collaborative HR team and reporting into an offshore leader, you’ll be the go-to expert for payroll queries, compliance, and reporting. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and upcoming payroll transformation initiatives, including vendor transition projects. DUTIES Process end-to-end payroll for Australia and New Zealand employees Validate payroll inputs including salary changes, leave, bonuses, and adjustments Manage superannuation, tax, and statutory compliance (STP & IRD) Respond to payroll queries and provide expert advice to employees Maintain payroll controls, compliance, and documentation Partner with HR, Finance, and global stakeholders Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis Contribute to payroll projects and system/process improvements Manage employee benefits including purchased leave and novated leases SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5 years payroll experience, ideally in a global or complex environment Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (NZ exposure highly regarded) Experience with Payforce (essential) or ADP systems Exposure to Workday and/or PeopleSoft (desirable) Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work autonomously as a standalone payroll specialist Strong stakeholder management and communication skills BENEFITS Competitive salary package Opportunity to own and shape a standalone payroll function Exposure to global payroll operations and projects Flexible working arrangements (2 days WFH) Collaborative and supportive team environment Potential for contract extension or permanent opportunity OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS At Lotus People, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
