Are you passionate about working in a retail environment? If so then we would like to hear from you. We are independently owned and operated. The site is open from 5am - 9pm - 7 days a week - 365 days a year. This is a long term casual position.
Online training will be required by the successful applicant prior to onsite training. This role involves customer service, hospitality and retail. This role also involves stock replenishment, merchandising, general cleaning, hotbox cooking, customer service, console operation. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is living within a close proximity to Yandina and is available to work a minimum of 24hrs a week.
The shifts consist of:
3 x 8hr closing shifts = 24hrs
We work with a rotating roster, which includes working every second weekend.
You must be available to work weekends and all public holidays.
Successful candidates will possess the following attributes
* provide customers with friendly and efficient customer service
* operate point of sale and cash handling with accuracy
* ensure strict compliance to company's policies & procedure's
* food prep and general cleaning duties with an eye for detail
* store presentation and stock rotation
* stock ordering
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria
* ability to work across a flexible roster. 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
* communicate effectively with customers, staff and management
* must have retail experience, stock control an advantage
* hospitality experience an advantage
* must be a team player and portray a positive attitude
* able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi task
* ability to work independently without supervision
* ability to fill a shift at short notice
* work in a strictly non-smoking environment
* Have your own reliable transport.
