About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a full time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
* Lead the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
* Manage team rosters, workloads and delegation of tasks
* Supporting the GM/ DON and NUM in quality activities and procurement
* Ensure the perioperative complex and equipment are ready for surgery
* Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
* Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
* Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
* Solid experience in a PACU/ Recovery nursing
* Post graduate qualifications in Nursing desirable
* Current AHPRA registration
* A passion for education, mentoring and leadership
* Advanced clinical and technical skills including problem solving skills
