**In the role of Planner you will be responsible for**:
- Assisting in the coordination of Transport and Main Roads' (TMR) reviews of key land use and infrastructure plans and policies including regional plans, planning schemes, structure plans, master plans and local government infrastructure plans.
- Assisting in the coordination of TMR reviews of Priority Development Areas, Environmental Impact Statements and Ministerial Infrastructure Designations.
- Providing advice on matters related to the delivery of integrated land use and transport outcomes in Queensland.
- Promoting, managing and implementing best practice transport infrastructure and integrated land use and transport principles and processes.
**Accountabilities include**:
- Providing assistance in the coordination of whole-of-department responses on key land use and transport infrastructure plans and policies, including regional plans, local government planning schemes, structure plans, airport and port master plans, local government infrastructure plans, Ministerial Infrastructure Designations, Priority Development Area development schemes and developments through the Office of the Coordinator-General and the Department of Environment and Heritage.
- Undertaking research and analysis.
- Participating in the development of transport planning projects and studies. - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare formal correspondence, advice, reports and briefing notes.
- Actively participating in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.
This role reports to the Manager (Statutory Planning) and has no direct reports.
