Network Engineer
$130 – 140K + Super

The Company
Our Melbourne based client are an established, publicly listed organisation who are going through quite a bit of growth at the moment and as a result have lots of big projects taking place across their IT function.
Responsibilities
* Manage and implement ITS Infrastructure projects.
* Maintain and support the ongoing business-as-usual ITS environment.
* Design and implement secure ITS solutions and ensure adequate measures are undertaken to protect company data.
* Perform disaster recovery (DR) testing as required.
* Management of assigned support calls in Helpdesk Application.
* Manage external vendors and projects delivery and resources.
* Design, capacity plan and assist with the selection of technology for the company's ITS Network and Voice Systems.
Your Background / Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure & networking roles.
* Certifications in Cisco – CCNP.
* Extensive experience with Cisco Routers and Switches & Palo Alto firewalls.
* Extensive experience with Voice Systems and infrastructure including design.
* Extensive experience with wireless topography, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Extensive experience with cloud solution (SaaS, IaaS, etc.)
* Extensive experience with security hardware and applications (FW, IPS / IDS, Network accelerations)
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft technology stack and Microsoft Cloud services
* Strong knowledge and experience with ITS best practises (ITIL)
