We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people with significant disabilities. This role is focused on delivering high-quality care, promoting independence, and building meaningful connections.
The successful candidate will offer essential care and support to children and young people, including assistance with personal care and daily living skills. They will also plan and attend appointments and activities to promote social interaction and skill development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience OR hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent. You will also require a Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive, as well as a Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive base rate of $34.58 to $37.73 per hour + casual and shift loadings (SCHADS Award) and Super (12%). You will also be eligible for first aid certificate compliance allowance, tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900 per year (pro-rata), and tax-free meal and entertainment card up to $2,650 per year (pro-rata).
