About the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity across the business. From journal entries and reconciliations to month-end reporting and fuel rebate calculations, your work will directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
* Process daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations
* Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and collections
* Monitor fuel usage and calculate monthly rebates
* Maintain and update accounting systems and customer pricing
* Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Support asset register maintenance and accounts payable during peak periods
* Contribute to statutory reporting and ad hoc financial analysis
What You Bring
* Formal accounting qualification or currently studying toward one
* 3+ years' experience in a commercial accounting environment
* Strong grasp of accounting principles
* Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience a plus
* Familiarity with ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista highly regarded)
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues
